This is my ultimate BABY - COMBO premium 4 feet, 5 feet, 6 feet or 8 feet - 6mm (0.236 inches) professional dog slip lead and/or regular walking/training lead in one with a snug push button stopper and hand-cut/stitched high-quality Buffalo leather binding, designed and handmade with passion and love by me (Peter) a professional dog trainer and behaviourist.
 
This lead is made from high-quality, light, soft, but strong, abrasion-resistant polypropylene multifilament rope braided of 18 strands. I have chosen Polypropylene because it gives me the best experience and precise handling. The material is lightweight, silky, shiny and has a smooth surface. Floatable, does not absorb water, dries very quickly and can be washed at max. 30 degrees.
 
This lead is 6 mm wide, one of the best sizes (together with 8mm) for the most precise handling and communicating, and is suitable for smaller or medium-sized breeds, or very well-trained larger breeds. 
 
This slip lead will not change size (within reasonable pressure) while training due to the snug push-button, (spring-loaded) stopper (toggle)
 
The lead is on both ends carefully welded, then hand stitched, and finally glued and bonded with the premium 1.5mm thick distressed Buffalo leather which is again hand stitched.

This is currently my favourite lead I use for my trained Weimaraner Sunny. I barely notice I have a lead in my pocket so small and light the lead is and I can use it as a regular lead attached to my dog's regular collar or as a slip lead if I need to in more challenging environments.

Tips from the trainer for using this lead as a slip lead:
This slip lead is designed to communicate with the dog with gentle pressure and release of the pressure. 
The dog must be introduced, conditioned, and trained to yield to gentle lead pressure. 
The dog is not meant and should not pull into this tool!
It is a simple and basic training tool but requires some handling skills. 
Place the lead as high as possible, right behind the ears, and adjust the size on the dog's neck with a stopper to make it snug but comfortable - make sure there is no pressure on the dog's neck so you can fit two fingers underneath.     
 
To correctly and safely use a slip lead, please seek advice from a professional dog trainer. 
 
NEVER LEAVE A SLIP LEAD ON A DOG UNATTENDED!!!
